Business Development Manager – Adviser Distribution

The Role

Distribution builds relationships with financial intermediaries, in order to grow funds under management. 

Responsibilities

  • Increase funds under management of the suite of products including investment options and retirement income 
  • Communicate key messages to adviser community
  • Manage assigned Dealer Group Accounts and contribute to National Account Strategies
  • Ensuring leads for other organisational product sales are appropriately referred and working with their State Sales Managers to ensure there is an effective cross referral system operating
  • Driving sales as directed by national strategy
  • You will be responsible for ; Appointments; Seminars; Presentations; Market intelligence and feedback; Account Management
  • Represent the organisational brand in a professional manner

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a wealth sales based role is a MUST
  • Thorough knowledge of financial markets, social security, tax, superannuation rules
  • Knowledge of dealers and advisers in target market (Victoria)
  • Knowledge of products used by advisers
  • RG146 compliant
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field
