Our client is a leading Australian banking institution. With a reputable brand and position in the industry, they are continuing to grow and expand.
They now have an opportunity for an experienced transactional banker to make the transition into a Business Development Manager position. As a BDM, your primary focus will be to source and acquire new customers to the bank through various initiatives, bringing them into and warmly handing them over to Relationship Managers once you have won the business. The target client base has an extensive focus on professional services but the incumbent will be free trusted on their commercial acumen to pursue any client or segment. They will also be hugely supported by the Business Bankers in terms of identifying leads and opportunities.
To be considered for this role, you will be:
- An experienced transactional banker or BDM with a track record of Acquiring new business bank clients.
- Strong experience and understanding of credit
- Passionate about Business Development and happy to focus purely on new sales that relationship management
- Polished in approach, resilient and relentlessly committed to winning new business
