Policy Manager

Our Client:
This large wealth management company not only is an industry leader but provides their clients with a full spectrum of wealth services.  As Policy Manager you will be responsible for the ongoing development of advice policies, tools and solutions to ensure they are relevant, easy to understand and provide high quality advice to clients.

The Role:  

  • Develop and maintain Licensee standards
  • Liaise with multiple groups and areas within the business to ensure effective implementation
  • Ownership and maintenance of policy inbox
  • Work with the policy team to action any changes due to legislation & implementing best practice advice processes
  • Implement all Operational Procedures across the business with regards to policy changes
  • Work with the Risk and Compliance Management team and improve Licensee standards where high risk issues are detected
  • Provide training professional development and education forums

Skills and Knowledge;

  • at least 5 years experience in the financial planning industry such as Paraplanning, Technical, Compliance or Financial Planning capacity 
  • Understanding compliance regulations
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Solid experience in writing and reviewing policies
  • ideally Tertiary Qualifications in a business related discipline 
  • Diploma in Financial Planning
