Role Overview

A unique SMSF position within an innovative and fast growing investment platform. The operations team conducts many of the daily tasks associated with SMSF’s which means this role is not burdened with much of the administration you may traditionally expect from an SMSF administrator role.
• Reviewing source data to ensure it’s complete and strategies detailed to be reflected in the annual SMSF return make sense and are legitimate
• Completion of the annual SMSF return and supporting documents
• Review of the completed return and notification to the auditor that the fund is ready for audit
• Overseeing the process of providing the SMSF return to the Accountant/Advisor
• Assisting in general portfolio administration duties
• Overseeing daily reconciliations and investigating/resolving issues that arise
• Special projects including, but not limited to tax reporting and testing of new enhancements

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of working in an administration role within Wealth Management is ESSENTIAL
• Excellent knowledge of SMSF regulatory landscape
Skills across BGL and Class are also essential
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal / ability to communicate at all levels
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
