Responsibilities
  
Team consists of 13 direct reports: 9 x Claims Assessors and 4 Underwriters

  • Ensure the delivery of services (including underwriting, claims, administration, customer engagement, commissions and adviser & Licensee onboarding) is in line with a market
  • leading Adviser experience including the development and analysis of appropriate measures
  • Drive performance of the team as guided by key reporting and activity statistics and developing actionable solutions with the team to continually drive efficiencies.
  • React effectively and efficiently to resolve Adviser and client queries
  • Drive performance of the team as guided by key reporting and activity statistics and developing actionable solutions with the team to continually drive efficiencies.
  • Manage workload between the Retail, Corporate and Industry Service Delivery areas based on volumes.
  • Resource, coach, mentor and develop a team that is high performing and motivated to strive for market leading broker and customer outcomes – including development and implementation of training, tools and capabilities

Skills & experience 

You will be able to point towards substantial experience leading an operational team that consists of either Claims Assessors or Underwriters across the Corporate/Group space.

  • Client facing experience across the broker market
  • Strong background of driving a positive working culture
  • Knowledge of claims and underwriting process’s
  • Change and project management experience across process improvement and developing the delivery model
