Accountability:

Financial

  • Growth in Revenue from New Business Acquisition
  • Growth in Share of Wallet of our existing customers

Customer

  • Maintain and increase level of customer satisfaction through customised reviews, ensuring recommendations are best fit for customers’ business requirements
  • Drive customer centric sales strategies at the portfolio level
  • Support Account Manager in growth in share of wallet / cross-sell for significant/complex deal opportunities
  • Increase in number of customers
  • Achieve leverage from product partnering opportunities with Relationship
  • Creation of innovative client solutions based on research, analysis and data

Skills and Experience:

  • A tertiary qualification in a Business, IT, Technology or related discipline
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and the flexibility to work in an environment of constant change
  • Digitally-minded and a desire to be at the forefront of digital innovation
  • Ability to identify future needs of clients through key questioning techniques
  • Strong understanding of Working Capital Management (at both financial and operational levels)
  • Excellent professional presence and exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills in order to manage client expectations
  • A thorough understanding of and previous experience in transactional banking advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of transaction banking products and use by the organisations clients
  • Strong client facing experience (in a sales capacity desirable)

 What’s on offer:

  • This role is responsible for leadership in the execution of the client acquisition strategy for Payments & Cash Management (Institutional Segment) and be a lead transactor on new to bank and existing client major business growth opportunities.
  • The Business Development Manager is expected to have a deep understanding of Payments & Cash Management Products and Channels and execute effectively across the Transaction Banking sales process and disciplines
