Founding Profusion in 2004, I have been Chief Executive Officer for 10 years. I possess extensive experience in sales, relationship and operational management, developing business and leading teams.
I joined the Recruitment Industry in London in the mid 1990’s, moving to Australia in 1999. I have always specialised in Financial Services Recruitment and since moving to Australia have established a reputation as an expert in Advice. I am well networked and consider myself an extension of the industry.
I co-founded Profusion Group in 2004 and I am a Director of our executive search practice – pac executive. I specialise in the appointment of senior roles across advice, superannuation, platforms, insurance and asset management.
In 2005 I founded Profusion Group with Rod Jones, Simone Mears and Alison Loader. Since then I have been the Co-Head of our recruitment business. Day to day I am responsible for leading a team of recruiters who service clients and candidates across the Funds Management, Superannuation and Insurance sectors.
I am a Director at Profusion Group and part of our executive search practice – pac executive. I specialise in the appointment of Senior roles across Funds and Wealth Management. I also currently hold several Non-Executive Directorships and undertake selective strategy-based consulting.
I commenced my recruitment career in Sydney in 1998 with a specialist Insurance and Superannuation recruitment firm and within 18 months I was asked to open the Melbourne branch of this firm and spent the following 5 years building a successful Melbourne operation covering Superannuation, and Life and General Insurance. In 2005, I made the move to specialise in the search industry joining a large domestic search firm focusing on broader Financial Services before joining Primary Asset Consulting (now pac executive) in 2007 in a national role focussed on developing the Life & General Insurance search practice.

Having worked in Funds Management for four years in London, I relocated to Melbourne in 2009 with my Australian wife and began a career in recruitment, specialising in Financial Services. I joined an international recruitment firm, progressing to Manager of the Financial Services Operations & Specialist team in 2010, partnering with a broad range of clients across Banking, Private Wealth Management, Funds Management, Superannuation and Insurance.
After spending three years within the wealth creation industry, I decided to build on my previous recruitment experience and re-joined the industry in 2011 progressing from Consultant, Senior Consultant to Manager of the Wealth, Banking and Financial Services team for a large Australian recruitment company. Late 2013, I joined Profusion Group as a Senior Consultant and over a 14 month cycle progressively worked to become Associate Director. I am responsible for managing and growing a broad range of client relationships within the Wealth Management industry.
15 years of recruitment experience in Accounting for the Financial Services with an established network of senior and mid-level candidates and strong track record of success. I have always aimed to provide honest and helpful feedback even if that meant missing out on an opportunity, many of my clients have worked with me for a number of years and know that they will always get unbiased and well educated advice from me.
With over 10 years experience within the Sydney IT Recruitment market placing candidates at all levels, I place a massive emphasis on working with customers in an open and honest manner to provide a consultative approach to recruitment.
Prior to joining Profusion Group I spent 7 years in the Shareholder Services side of the Funds Management world, initially in Luxembourg and the United Kingdom, before moving over to Australia in 2011. Having joined State Street as a graduate, I was selected for a leadership training scheme and quickly moved into middle management.
In 2007, I joined Profusion Group as a Senior Consultant specialising in Funds Management recruitment. Partnering with a broad range of clients I have enjoyed working with the big global through to the start-up organisations.
As a proud local Australian 360’ recruiter with over 8 years local IT experience, I’ve been extremely privileged to have worked with some really impressive clients who are at the top of their game. Recruitment for me, is a passion. I actually enjoy placing local and international stand out candidates within Technology regularly in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, all across a wide variety of technology sectors.
Having spent the past 19 years in financial markets, across a variety of organisations and roles, I have had the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge. This coupled with my extensive network across a variety of specialist areas, I can provide a client with a very deep level of understanding of candidates and industry trends/intel, while offering guidance on the future direction of staffing within our market.
Having commenced my recruitment career in London in 2005, I have gained over 9 years of experience with 8 of these years dedicated to the Financial Services sector in Melbourne, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. My tenure within this field ensures that I can partner with clients and candidates in confidence and stand out from my competition. I can provide advice and guidance on industry trends and demands and I understand the complexities involved in this sector when compared to others.
While studying my Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations I worked part time as a Sales Consultant within the construction industry, before relocating to Sydney in 2013. My first job in Australia was with QPL Recruitment in a hybrid role before quickly being promoted into a Consultant position, and then joined Profusion Group in January 2014. For both companies I have specialised within Wealth Management Recruitment, enabling me to build a very strong network within this niche market.
Originally from Wales in the UK, I relocated to Sydney in 2007, and joined the recruitment world, specialising in Information Technology and Projects within Banking and Financial Services. I progressed to Manage a small IT Recruitment team, before moving into internal Recruitment with a large Global insurer, leading a National team whilst remaining hands-on in heading up the IT Recruitment portfolio.
Having spent six years in the Hospitality/Service industry I’m no stranger to hard work and long hours to ensure every customer needs are taken care of and serviced. I’ve tried to take this hard work and customer focused mentality into the recruitment industry with my clients.
I moved to Melbourne in 2011, initially working in the insurance industry before taking an internal recruitment role with Australia Post. I started my agency recruitment career in 2013 working with a national Recruitment Firm specialising in Banking & Financial services across Victoria.
I joined the Profusion Group in 2014. I am responsible for recruitment solutions to a wide range of Financial Services Organisations across Melbourne and wider Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and West Australia, specialising in Wealth Management and Financial Planning.
I worked across Life and Pensions in the UK, starting off as a Business Analyst across a remediation program, after two years I was seconded into an internal recruitment position in which I was part of a large recruitment drive, recruiting 800 PPI claims specialist.
I moved to Australia in 2013 and joined an internationally recognised recruitment agency, specialising in recruitment of insurance professionals covering Underwriters, Claims Consultants, Account Executives, Actuaries, BDM’s and Operations covering both Life and General Insurance.
I joined Profusion in April 2016 to head up their Insurance division, sitting within a close team of four, covering banking & Insurance. Together, we offer over 18 years’ experience in recruiting financial services professionals.
Since 2013 I’ve always been involved in the Banking and Financial Services Sector across the UK and Sydney, starting my career as an advisor and lending specialist before making the move into Banking Recruitment.
In 2015 prior to Profusion I was the lead Business Analyst Consultant for Huxley Banking Associates, who are the Banking and Finance arm of SThree. During my career with Huxley I worked with multiple banking clients across different industries including Insurance, Retail Banking, Superannuation and Wealth. The exposure across these industries really helped build my market knowledge which I provide as a service to my clients, new or existing.
April of 2017 I joined an incredible growing Life Insurance team at Profusion as the Lead consultant for the Claims and Underwriting Market in Sydney.
Over the last 2 Years I have developed a very strong network across the Sydney Banking market (Client and Candidate) which I have been able to bring to Profusion. With my ability and drive to add value to clients at the highest level, I’m very excited and looking forward to growing our Sydney presence in the Insurance space
I joined Profusion Group in 2015 through an internship program. I was then given the opportunity to join the ‘Profusion Family’ within the Banking and Insurance team as a consultant.
Originally from Nelson New Zealand, I relocated to Sydney in June 2016 to take up a position in recruitment as a Recruitment Resourcer within financial services Information technology. Here I was taught the foundations of recruitment initially being more candidate facing with my purpose being to connecting expert talent in the market with high calibre clients. In mid-2017 I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to join Profusion Group as a Consultant, where I am now able to continue building on my knowledge and experience in the business projects space. Throughout my introduction to recruitment I have found a passion in talking with professional candidates and helping them find there next life changing career move. Whether that be in a permanent position, or a long term contract in the project transformation space.
I joined the Profusion team in the summer of 2016 as an intern and was asked to stay on in a part-time capacity while finishing off my last semester of university.

I began my recruitment career on a working holiday visa in the UK. Working across the Compliance and Internal Audit space within the London insurance market I developed my interest in financial services and recruitment. Upon returning home to Sydney I was given the opportunity to join the Business Projects team here at Profusion.
I commenced my recruitment career in 2016 specialising in Government and white-collar Construction markets where I covered business support, HR and finance roles
I started my recruitment career in the UK working for a Software Consultancy as an Internal Recruiter. In 2015 I relocated to sunny Sydney and joined an IT specialist recruitment agency, where my interest in technology grew along with my passion for recruitment.
In 2017 I was then given the opportunity to join Profusion within the Business Projects team as a consultant, where I continue to grow my network and expertise within the financial services Information Technology sector.
I joined Profusion Group in March 2018, as a Resourcing Consultant within the Banking and Insurance team.
Coming to Profusion with a background in foreign exchange trading, I have entered the financial services market in a recruitment role with the goal to deliver great outcomes for my clients, my candidates and my team.
A qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive, diversified work experience gained over more than a decade. Having joined Profusion in 2008 as Finance Manager, the role has provided me exposure and knowledge of the business framework in the recruitment industry.
After 10 year’s experience within the Recruitment Industry with roles ranging from Resourcer to Consultant I joined Profusion Group in March 2014 to take on the role of Corporate Support Manager. This role offers both variety and continued development and sees me mainly supporting the business from an Administration perspective, managing the Support function and looking after the overall office environment.
Recently starting with Profusion Group my role as Client Services Manager has a two prong approach.
I will be responsible for overseeing the management of Profusion Groups Key & PSA Accounts ensuring our account management process runs efficiently and effectively. I will also be responsible for supporting our Human Capital business with all future projects and developments.
My journey with Profusion Group began in 2017 through an internship program. After three months, I was blessed with the opportunity to join the ‘Profusion Family’, as a Researcher within the Pac Executive team.
My current position with Profusion working in the Corporate Support Team has me being the first point of contact for clients and candidates alike, making them feel welcome upon arrival and providing a great first impression and introduction into to our fantastic business. Working closely alongside the office Manager, each day brings something new and exciting to the table, whether it being planning our next exciting corporate event or supporting the ever bustling Recruitment team, there’s never a dull moment.
My drive is to help people to perform under pressure while retaining a sense of control and composure. Having worked on international and Australian Leadership programs, I co-founded The Missing Peace with the aim of enabling Sustainable High Performance over the long term. We developed our approaches in response to consistently observing overwhelm, high levels of stress and anxiety and people struggling with each other and 24/7 availability.
