Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Cortney moved to Sydney in 2016. She has been working in the recruitment industry since 2017 when she joined Infopeople in its contractor care team. She subsequently went on to work for Bluefin Resources in its internal talent team before moving to Preacta in 2021 as a recruitment consultant in its product and design team.
 
Cotney joined Profusion in 2023, supporting our projects and transformation team with candidate screening and sourcing. In her current role, as Executive Business Partner Cortney supports our Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officer.
 
Cortney has a Diploma in Business (Human Resources) from the Australian College of Commerce and Management. She is based out of our Sydney office.  
 
Fun fact about Cortney: She represented Queensland at a national level in kayaking for five years, in both group and single rower competitions.
