to join their team at the Woodend office
. You will be joining a close-knit team of 25-27 professionals, working collaboratively to drive the next phase of their strategic growth. The role also offers a direct pathway to the Partner position
, with the opportunity to eventually take over the current Partner's role.
Job Description:
As the Associate Partner/Director, you will take on a leadership role, overseeing high-quality service delivery to clients while managing a team of professionals. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding an existing portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, and driving operational excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strategic vision and a passion for client-focused solutions, with a clear pathway to Partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and expanding an established portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.
- Leading client engagements and ensuring service excellence.
- Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of 25-27 professionals.
- Building and expanding client relationships, identifying opportunities for further growth.
- Contributing to the business development and profitability of the firm.
Ideal Candidate Background:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with:
- Proven experience in a senior managerial role within an accounting or professional services environment.
- Strong expertise in tax, accounting, and advisory services.
- A Registered Tax Agent license.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
- Strong client-facing skills and a proven track record of fostering lasting relationships.
- Business development experience and the ability to grow portfolios.
- CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent.
- Good-to-have: A book of clients that you can bring across and further expand.
