Join one of Australia's largest and fastest growing non-bank lenders as a Senior Business Analyst on a permanent basis.
This Senior Business Analyst position is a key position during a time of accelerated growth for the organisation. This role will focus on improving and integrating business processes affected by technology changes, in line with a wider transformation strategy.
Role Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in improving business processes that intersect with technology, particularly within the end-to-end loan lifecycle. This involves translating business needs into actionable technical specifications, driving system integration, and supporting the development and enhancement of our loan systems to ensure efficiency and scalability.
The role requires a strong understanding of both the business and technical aspects of the loan lifecycle, and the ability to work closely with various teams to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize the loan lifecycle processes, focusing on seamless integration with internal and external systems.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including end-to-end process flow diagrams, technical specifications, and UI/UX designs
- Work closely with both business and technical teams, including internal stakeholders and external vendors, to ensure alignment of requirements and successful project delivery.
- API integration - conduct detailed API field mapping, analyze API specifications, and convert them into actionable technical requirements
Skills and experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst (blend of business and technical) ideally from financial services or non-bank lending organisations
- 3+ years lending experience (retail / business / commercial) with exposure to the full end to end loan lifecycle
- Banking payments domain experience highly advantageous but not essential
- Proven hands-on experience with API testing and analysis highly desirable but not essential
