A highly regarded, financial services organisation is seeking a skilled, Lead Business Architect to join the team and contribute towards the design, process architecture and end-to-end business processes for a high visibility, transformation program.
Role Overview
The function of the Lead the Business Architecture is to apply a structured business and process design approach aligned to the Businesses current methodology. This will include identifying stakeholders, as well as develop, and maintain collaborative working relations.
The successful candidate will have a proved ability to develop well-conceived, and clearly articulated, pragmatic solutions and process recommendations to complex business problems.
The role is central to driving and supporting Business Improvement within the idea design, prioritisation and implementation of a large Program of work.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead planning and delivery of Architecture outputs for a large program/portfolio.
- Understand business architecture in the context of a delivery portfolio and business domain.
- Recognise structural issues within the organisation, functional interdependencies, and cross silo redundancies.
- Apply architectural principles, methods and tools to business challenges.
- Visualise and create high level models to extend and mature the business architecture.
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in Lead Business Architecture roles (Risk and Compliance experience is preferred)
- Extensive stakeholder management experience
- Proven track record in project/program delivery including large business transformational programs
- End to end risk, project delivery experience (operational, market or credit risk)
- Banking and financial services experience is mandatory
- Strong Agile experience
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholder groups concurrently (e.g. Risk, Marketing, Product, Compliance etc.)
- A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
